I have been a GWG member since 1998 when I acquired my 300 SL Roadster. Two years later, my wife joined when she got her 300 SL coupe. Since then we have attended every convention and plan our vacations around them. In 2000, I became the President of the Northern California Chapter and have enjoyed working with the wonderful members in our chapter to keep our chapter active.
In 2002, I was elected as a member of the board of directors and in 2005 I was elected to be the secretary for the board. I also serve as a member of the Technical Committee. I began serving as the vice-president of the club in 2008.
I have owned, repaired, restored, and driven Mercedes-Benz automobiles for more than 30 years and have a passion for them and the people who are involved with them.
