Bob Slayden: Sandy Springs, Georgia

I have served on the Gull Wing Group International Board for 14 years. I have been the long term "custodian" of a 1954 Gull Wing, #4500047, since September 1972, and a Gull Wing Group International member since 1973. I have been an active board member of our organization since 1996, with years of service to our club. My current and past board duties have included liaison with the "300 StarLetter" and coordinator of chapter events for the "300 StarLetter," and chair of the web committee in addition to attending many board meetings. In my opinion, my best contribution to the club was founding the popular GWGT (GullWingGroupTalk) e-mail interactive discussion group, which I administrate and monitor daily.

My love of the car, and the benefits from the club, motivate me as a board member of an organization that provides so much to those who participate. By serving I can give back to the club something for what Beryle and I have received in the past many years in camaraderie and friendships with fellow club members and their families.
